Data Center Locations

NTT America data center locations are secure facilities in Ashburn, VA , Sterling, VA, San Jose, CA, and Santa Clara, CA. They are directly connected to NTT Communications' Tier 1 IPv6-compliant global network for seamless connections worldwide, providing customers with a high-speed connection to ISPs all over the world.

All NTT America US data center locations feature the following:

• NTT Communications global connectivity plus multiple local access providers
• East or West coast sites at primary peering locations to reduce network latency
• 24/7 on-site security; monitoring and access controls
• ASHRAE operating range standards for temperature (72 F + or - 6) and humidity (45%)
• Backup generators and UPS, N+1 configuration
• VESDA smoke detection, FM200 waterless fire suppression, double action dry pipe
• SSAE 16 and ISAE 3402 compliant
• Availability of Cloud computing services, Professional Services, Remote Hands, Content Delivery Network
• Inter-connection to other data center locations by Layer 2 VPN

Each premier NTT America data center location is compliant with SSAE 16 (SAS 70) and ISAE 3402. These new reports (as of November 2011) are similar to the SAS 70 report and continue to contain our service auditor's opinion, a description of our system, a description of our control objectives and controls, and our service auditor's tests of operating effectiveness and test results.

For customers who require geographic diversity of their IT infrastructure for such things as data migration, back-up, replication and disaster recovery, NTT America offers Layer 2 VPN connectivity between each of its data centers. For more information download the datasheet.

Utilizing its global presence, NTT Communications has established data centers throughout the world. As of July 2010, it had data center locations in over 30 cities in 20 countries outside of Japan, providing over 1 million square feet of server space.
